You can purchase a kit with a prewired harness for direct plug in. Or a cheaper option is to wire it in yourself. The install consists of very minor wiring with step by step instructons with labelled wires and supplied materials. I can also wire up any engine harness sent to me. (The engine harness is short and small and is the A connector off the stock ecm that goes to the engine and sensors.) Its simple to remove or install. The Stock engine harness part number is 420665902 for all vtwin models. (to purchase a replacement, one to send me, or if you wanted to remove the ecm and not have patched wires or resell vehicle) There is 12 wires that need tapped in the stock engine harness at the bulk head by the ecm and dash. There is also 1 wire in the frame harness, and 1 wire from the handle bar harness. There is full install details, instructions and pictures for people who can tackle the minor install themselves.   There are a couple things for people to note when going to an aftermarket ecm:   ***-You might have to order 2 more warning stickers from the dealer, as this atv may exeed the          performance of other atv's you may have ridden in the past, but this time its of the same        brand. ***-The factory reverse rev limiter is no longer active. Caution must be used. The switch can       be  used to induce a low power mode for technical situations. Or a high power mode as a NOS trigger.
